Quick Disconnect Ball Joints Light Duty Series

Quick disconnect ball joints are used in light-duty applications where the ball stud needs to be easily disconnected from the housing. This is accomplished simply by pulling the ball stud out of the housing (takes approximately 10 to 20 pounds of force to remove the ball stud). Quick Disconnect Ball Joints are typically assembled to push-pull cables or rod linkages. For heavier loads, consider the QI-series Ball Joints.

Material

  • Ball socket: low carbon steel
  • Ball stud: low carbon steel
  • Sleeve: low carbon steel
  • Finishes: zinc plated yellow dichromate treated or zinc plated white and blue passivate (silver/clear) for corrosion resistance
  • Lubrication: bearing cavity filled with high wear lubricant

Custom Ball Joints

  • Stainless steel 303/304/316L is available on request
  • Metric thread is available on request

Temperature Range

  • -30°C ~ +120°C(-22°F ~ +248°F)
